THE INVITATION: Standstill
Bask in the beauty of the sunrise and the sunset. Standing still while moving. This is the year of internal radical transformation. Think of galaxies of change and movement that are happening in mediation or in Yin yoga. To the humxn naked eye, it appears as if nothing is happening when observing one sitting in meditation or holding a yoga pose extra long as we do in Yin yoga. And to the person standing still their insides are firing off at astronomical rates. Tissue is being elongated and stretched. Synapsis are being tapped. Cells are regenerating. The pituitary gland is secreting the elixir of the stars. Entire universes are being built in what appears as nothing to our naked eye. This is the year to focus on what’s happening on your insides. Focus on that inner marvel of an ecosystem we call bodies. How does what is within mirror what is with out? How does the sunrise and set inside of you? You are blooming even when you are standing still. Make more space for this kind of inner transformational magic.Â
Pay special attention to your energy centers, particularly the first 3–root, sacral, and solar plexus. See if you can build a relationship with your inner Sun, your solar plexus energy center. Your intuition will be communicating to you throughout the year here.Â
Also, find ways to stimulate your 3rd eye.Â
THE ELEMENTAL: Earth
Earth. Mirror earth. Everywhere around you, Earth is trying to show you how to evolve, how change is done. The sun. The trees. The stone people. The hawks. Spend 2022 using Earth as your map and teacher. What can you learn about transformation and change from the Earth? Start an Earth Journal and record how you are being mirrored back to by Pachamama.Â
Seeing as how Earth as Pachama is the undercurrent of energy for 2022, this year is going to be CENTRAL for you. This will be a big year for you–if you allow yourself the grace of stillness and space of standing still long enough to let it move you from the inside out.Â
Pay special attention to any pentacles and pages that come to you in a tarot reading or daily card pull. Find ways to embody their message in your physical, Earth, world.
